Come see The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus at The 2008 National Association of Broadcasters Show for a chance to win! The Lennon Bus invites broadcasters to win a high profile local promotion with great free giveaways! The winning broadcaster can develop local promotions benefiting the station, their advertisers, and local students. The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus will embark on a three week tour of the great state of Texas, making stops in Denton, Lewisville, Dallas, Ft Worth, Houston, Austin, Lake Travis, Tyler, and College Station. While on tour in Texas, the Lennon Bus will be presenting the North Texas High School Battle of the Bands, creating orginal videos with multiple Texas ISD High Schools, sponsoring Texas A&M's i-Tunes-U Online Battle of the Bands, and capping it ALL off with a dual sponsorship of the Purevolume Ranch AND Texas Music Magazine's party at The 2008 SXSW Music Conference in Austin, TX!!!
Stop by the Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe, AZ between February 14th-16th and get your chance to check out the New Lennon Bus! During this time, The ROY ORBISON EXHIBITION will be at the center. The Bus will also visit Tempe High School, who will be celebrating their 100th Anniversary
The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus will be making its rounds to Southern California schools providing hands-on experiences for students at the University of Southern California and The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus will also visit Huntington Beach Highschool where ROLAND will host the visit and will provide amazing opportunities to experience and play on New Roland gear such as Roland TD-20S - Pro V-Drum Set, Roland RD-200sx Digital Piano - Digital Piano, Boss Guitar and Bass Pedals.
The Brad Delp Foundation, created in honor of the lead singer for the bands Boston and Beatle Juice, is awarding its initial grant this week, according to foundation director and spokesman Bill Faulkner. The presentation to the non-profit John Lennon Educational Tour Bus will be made at the NAMM winter conference this week in Anaheim, CA by Delp’s daughter Jenna.
