Obama loves the John Lennon Bus

Written by The Lennon Bus

I am excited to see the day when one person will change the outlook of the world.  With another inspiring speech and a sea of hope filled eyes, that day has arrived.  He has come to bring change.  In these coming years of Obama, I hope that education will not be overlooked, like it has been in the past.  In our eyes, The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus will continue to play an amazing part in inspiring and educating students in media and arts; and with the turn of a new age in leadership we might be able to make permanent changes in schools.
Although our schedule on the road limits us to short 1 to 2 day stops at schools, we are able to enable the educators, with limited budgets, ideas of how to keep projects going after we leave.  Like investing in an iMac and teaching basic video editing and music production with the tools that come with any apple computer, such as imovie, idvd, garageband etc.  A small start, such as this, is the road to a greater outcome.
Now, more than ever, these things will be possible.  For too long now schools and education have been neglected.  We must all fight for what shapes our culture so we can continue to share and inspire the rest of the world.  We will continue to do our part in this goal, and appreciate your support.

Here is Obama’s plan for the future of education in the arts.  Check it out here!
