Front Studio
The front studio is designed as a high-end project recording studio. Centered on an Apple Quad 3.0 Ghz Mac Pro and featuring dual 23” Cinema Displays this studio is perfect for any type of multimedia project. A Digidesign 002 Rack provides audio i/o capable of recording 16 channels simultaneously and Aphex mic pres and compressors ensure a great sound is captured into the DAW. Godin guitars and the Roland Fantom X6 keyboard let musicians play the huge selection of sounds provided both by the keyboard and Logic Pro 7 and 3rd party plugin manufacturers. Glyph professional hard drive racks mount hot-swappable firewire drives for all media storage needs. Furman balanced power transformers generate clean, noise-free power to drive the studio.
Back Studio
The back studio is the large room and is a powerful recording environment. The studio provides enough space for a full band to play simultaneously and provides Roland’s best V-Drum set, guitar and bass amps, an 88 piano-weighted key electric piano, as well as Godin guitars and basses so that musicians may walk into the Bus empty handed and find a top-quality instrument tuned and ready for them to play. The Rear Studio is centered around an Apple Mac Pro and features the incredible screen real-estate of dual 30” Apple Cinema Displays. The recording system is a Digidesign HD 3 Accel TDM system connected to two Digidesign 192 i/os each with the digital expansion option. This allows the Back Studio to record 32 channels simultaneously. Neutrik patchbays connect all the gear in the studio, tie the two studios together, and also connect to external tielines that enable the Bus to be utilized as a 32 track remote recording vehicle.
